It gives us immense pleasure to inform you that the P.C.Mahalanobis Memorial Museum & Archives of Library, Documentation & Information Sciences Division is organizing a one-day seminar on 'Recent Advances in Museum Management' on 26th March 2019.
The objective of the seminar is to improve museum practices in specific regions and to promote professional regional cooperation between institutions that are facing similar challenges. This one-day seminar aims to train, motivate and enrich the knowledge of the young scholars and professionals and will help to understand the collection, documentation, conservation, preservation, display, exhibition, communication and marketing of museum. This will provide an opportunity for the participants to exchange ideas and share experiences in the field of Museum & Archive management.
